Broad Peak is one of the Eight-Thousand peak located in the Karakorum range of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan and Xinjiang, China the twelfth highest mountain in the world at 8051 meters above sea level. Broad peak is considered one of the safer 8000m peaks, with the route begin more straight forward with less overall objective hazard when compared to a peak such as K2. An expedition to climb Broad Peak typically takes several weeks, with each day presenting new challenges and experiences.
The first ascent of Broad Peak was made on june-09-1957, by Fritz Wintersteller, Marcus Schmuck, Kurt Diemberger, and Hermann Buhl of an Austrian Expedition lead by Marcus Schmuck, a first attempt by the team was made on may-29 where Fritz Wintersteller and kurt Diemberger reached the fore summit (8030m) this was also accomplished without the aid of supplemental oxygen or high altitude porters and without basecamp support.
We employee many porters to ferry our expedition loads to basecamp. The trek to broad peak basecamp is more than twice the distance as the trek to Everest Basecamp and is considerably much more arduous being mostly on glacier and lose rock, there are no villages or lodges as on Everest trek so we must transport our entire camp kit by porters each day as we move our caravan towards basecamp.

The first day of the expedition involves arriving in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. The team members will meet each other and go over the itinerary and logistics of the trip. The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing to the time zone and preparing for the journey ahead.
The team will depart from Islamabad and travel by air to Skardu, a small town located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The flight takes around 1-2 hours and offers stunning views of the Karakoram range.
The team will spend a day in Skardu, resting and acclimatizing to the higher altitude. They may also use this day to purchase any last-minute gear or supplies they need for the expedition.
The team will travel by jeep to Askole, a remote village located at the start of the trek to Broad Peak base camp. The journey takes around 6-8 hours and involves crossing several suspension bridges and rocky terrain.
The next four days will be spent trekking to Broad Peak base camp, which is located at an altitude of approximately 4,900 meters. The trek covers around 62 kilometers and involves passing through several scenic valleys and crossing a glacier.
The team will spend two days at the base camp, resting and acclimatizing to the higher altitude. They may also use this time to organize their gear and supplies for the climb ahead.
The next few days will be spent on acclimatization hikes to higher elevations, in order to prepare the team members’ bodies for the climb. The hikes will be progressively longer and higher, with the team camping at higher elevations each night.
The team will begin their summit push. They will move up the mountain in stages, establishing higher camps along the way. Each camp will be stocked with supplies and equipment, and the team will return to lower camps to rest and recover before moving higher.
the team will begin their descent down the mountain. They will follow the same path they took on the way up, taking their time to ensure a safe descent
